Private-label bra and bralette development

Bras & bralettes, developed with the range.

Connect the top to the rest of your underwear collection. DALI reviews the silhouette, fabric, straps and underband alongside the matching bottoms, keeping the fit requirements of each garment distinct.

Soft bras and bralettes with different necklines and strap configurations
Style references. Product specifications are agreed through sampling.
01

Agree the product before choosing the details.

A soft bralette and a structured bra do not share the same development brief. Show the required coverage, panels, cup construction, support expectation and closure. DALI reviews the proposed construction rather than treating every bra type as a standard option.

Identify the intended wearer and the size system. A fashion reference can explain the visual direction, while a fit reference and measurement plan establish what the sample must achieve.

02

Treat straps and underband as part of fit.

Specify strap width, adjustment, rings, sliders and attachment positions where relevant. The underband needs a material, width and measurement reference, including how it is evaluated in the garment.

For a matching family, share which fabrics and colours should connect to the briefs. A common shade or rib appearance is useful for collection planning, but stretch and construction requirements may differ between top and bottom.

03

Set sample objectives that can be checked.

Record comments by sample version and separate shape changes from measurement corrections. Confirm the agreed reference before discussing the final bulk specification.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Before the next step.

Can I discuss a matching bra and brief family?

Yes. Share the intended combination, common fabric or colour preferences and the requirements for each item. The top and bottom retain their own fit and construction approvals.

Are all bra constructions available as standard?

Send the required shape, cup construction, components and size system. DALI will review the proposed design and sampling requirements before confirming a production route.

Do I need complete technical drawings?

A detailed drawing helps, but the first conversation can begin with references, intended sizes, market and estimated quantity.
