Private-label boxer shorts manufacturing
Boxer shorts with a defined place in the range.
For a relaxed boxer-short programme, start with fit allowance and fabric behaviour. DALI can review relaxed and fitted underwear within the same collection brief, with the fabric, waistband and fit requirements defined for each style.

Set the fit allowance and intended use.
Describe whether the product belongs to everyday underwear, a coordinated leisure assortment or another defined use. Provide garment measurements, leg clearance, rise and front opening rather than relying on the word “relaxed”.
State the intended size range and your reference for movement and coverage. A looser silhouette still needs an agreed base size and grading plan, particularly where the collection uses several fabric constructions.
Review the waistband and opening together.
Choose the exposed or enclosed waistband arrangement and identify the proposed fly or front opening. Include stitching, attachment and any closure components in the sample objectives.
Confirm the actual fabric construction, composition and weight for review. Send the swatch or material specification, including whether the fabric is woven or knitted, so the sample brief uses the intended construction.
Coordinate colour, size and retail presentation.
If boxer shorts sit alongside fitted underwear, explain the common brand details and the differences that matter to the wearer. Keep pack artwork tied to the final style names and size identities.

BUYER QUESTIONS
Before the next step.
How do boxer shorts differ from boxer briefs?
Boxer shorts use a looser silhouette and a separate allowance and opening brief. Boxer briefs are close fitting and need their own leg-length and stretch references.
Can a fabric reference be reviewed first?
Yes. Send a swatch or clear specification with intended use and quantity. Construction and garment suitability are reviewed before the sample specification is confirmed.
Can boxer shorts form part of a larger collection?
Yes. Identify which colours, labels and retail packaging are shared with the range, while preserving the boxer short’s own fit and material specification.
